Because it treats the ventilation air rather than blowing from a wall unit, it gives quiet, draught-free cooling without the hot and cold zones you get with a single split AC. It is rated at up to 3.2 kW cooling and handles 150 to 600 m³\/h, with 200mm spigots, SAE 1\/4 and 3\/8 refrigerant connections, a DN32 condensate drain and a 10kg insulated steel case. Supply ducts after the unit need closed-cell insulation to prevent condensation.
