Rigid Ducting

Rigid ducting for MVHR and general ventilation, in galvanised spiral steel and rigid PVC, with a full range of fittings: 15, 30, 45 and 90 degree bends, equal and reducing tees, reducers, connectors and suspension rings, from 100mm to 315mm.

Our preference is steel, and it is what our own engineers install. A galvanised spiral duct holds its shape over long runs and does not sag between hangers, the smooth bore keeps resistance low so the fan works less hard, and it is non-combustible, which matters wherever a duct passes through a fire compartment. The factory-fitted EPDM gaskets seal on push-fit, with no mastic or tape, and the system stays airtight and cleanable for the life of the building.

Whichever you choose, size it against your design flow rates — undersized duct is the most common cause of a noisy system.
